Adam Reekie

BIO:

Reekie is currently in his first year as the Canisius College Men's Soccer Assistant Coach.  Reekie spent the last two seasons as the head coach of the Louisburg College women’s soccer team, where he guided the Lady Hurricanes to a 29-11 record. During his tenure, he mentored the 2008 Region X Player of the Year in addition to seven first-team all-region student-athletes.

Reekie also spent one season as an assistant coach with Lock Haven.

Reekie played two seasons for Canisius College, starting all 34 games he played in as a defender and midfielder. He also attended Louisburg for two seasons before arriving at Canisius, earning Student-Athlete of the Year honors in 2003 and helping the Hurricanes to two NJCAA National Tournaments.

A native of Folkestone, England, Reekie graduated from Canisius with a bachelor’s degree in physical education. He also earned his master’s in liberal arts from Lock Haven University.
